High Court of Delhi was formed by the Constitution
of India on 31st October 1966. 6 district courts of Delhi are operating
under Delhi High Court. If a person is not satisfied by its decision
then he / she can appeal in the Supreme Court of India. The sanctioned
strength of Judges of Delhi High Court is 29 permanent judges along with
19 additional judges. Its composition method is Presidential with
Conformation of Chief Justice of India and Governor of state.
A recruitment notice have been released by the High Court of Delhi for the recruitment of Delhi Judicial Service Examination 2011. For this, it invites applications from Indian Nationals. The last date for the receipt of application in a prescribed format is 22nd October 2011.
Total 50 posts are available for Delhi Judicial Service Examination 2011. Out of these, 23 posts are for general category, 6 are for physically handicapped, 6 are for SC and rest 15 are for ST candidates. Candidates applying for this post should be less than 32 years of age as on 1st January 2012. Graduation in Law from a government recognized university is required. This post is under the revised pay scale of Rs. 15600 – 39100/-.
Selection will be based on written exam which is divided in 2 stages. These are Delhi Judicial Service preliminary Examination. Candidates selected in this exam will be allowed to appear in the main exam that is Delhi Judicial Service main Examination and at last shortlisted candidates will be called for Viva Voce. The preliminary exam is going to be held on 18th December 2011.
