Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission

Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission ( MERC ) was formed on 5th August 1999 by the Government of Maharashtra. Its head office is at Mumbai. It is a governing body for for the promotion of competition , efficiency and economy in power sector of the state. It is also involved in the generation and supply of electricity all over Maharashtra.


In order to meet the business requirements, MERC is looking for candidates having best qualification and experience according to the advertisement published in its official website. For filling up of various posts, MERC invites applications from Indian Nationals. Interested and eligible candidates can apply latest by 30th September 2011.

5 post are for Regulatory Experts. For this post, candidates should be a retired person from NTPC / NHPC / NPCIL / POWER GRID / CEA / BHEL / TPC / Railways / R-Infra / BEST / MAHAGENCO / MAHATRANSCO or MAHADISCOM.

5 vacancies are for Regulatory Officers for technical / finance or legal department. For this, candidates should posses degree in relevant engineering OR PG in the relevant field. Even candidates with PG in the relevant field from AICTE approved university will be preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience is also required. Also candidates age should be less than 35 years.

for both of the above positions, selected candidates will get suitable remuneration depending upon the qualification and experience.

5 vacancies are for Stipendiary Regulatory Analysts. Candidates applying for this post should have the degree of BE / B.Tech / MBA / MCA with at least 60% marks and also should not be more than 30 years of age. Remuneration will be Rs. 12000/- per month.

Central Rice Research Institute [ CRRI ] is an national research institute which is under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. It was established on 22nd April 1946 by the Government of India. It is situated in Orissa, India.  It’s area is very large and is divided into different departments. There is a residential facility for scientists with all necessary requirements. It has 2 research stations located at Assam and Assam. It offers research and training in the field of rice and other fields related to it.


Central Rice Research Institute is looking for young and work oriented staff for its organization on temporary basis. Interested candidates can grab this chance up to 27th September 2011. Mode of Application is offline with all necessary documents.

Total 9 posts are there out of which 5 posts are for Lower Division Clerk with pay scale of Rs.5200-20200/- along with Grade pay of Rs.1900/- and 4 posts are for Steno. Candidates should be Senior Secondary pass or equivalent from recognized board with a typing speed of 35 word per minute in English or 30 word per minute in Hindi on computer for all the posts. Union Public Service Commission ( UPSC ) was setup 84 years age that is on 1st October 1926 by the constitution of India. Its main office is located at Dholpur House, New Delhi. It was established with the aim to make recruitments of various posts of civil services of India and this recruitment id through the process of direct recruitment and competitive examinations. All the members along with the chairman of UPSC are appointed by the president of India with a term of 6 years.


UPSC has released an advertisement no. 16/2011 in its official website for the recruitment of various positions. For this it invites applications from Indian Nationals.
