OUAT ] was established on 24th August 1962 by the Government. It is situated at Bhubaneswar. The University has various departments such as
Research, Education and Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation. Currently

Total 14 posts are offered out of which 4 posts are for Professors with the pay scale of Rs.37400-67000/- along with AGP Rs.10000/-. Candidates should have minimum 10 years of experience in the relevant field. 4 posts are for Associate Professors. Candidates will get pay scale of Rs.15600-39100/- with AGP of Rs.8000/- and for this candidates should posses minimum 5 years of experience in the relevant field. 6 posts are for Assistant Professors with the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100/-. with AGP of Rs.6000/-.
Candidates for all the posts should have a B.SC and M.SC Degree in relevant subject with minimum 55% marks. For Professors and Associate Professors candidates should have a Ph.D in relevant subject and for Assistant Professors NET clearance in Forestry is essential. And also specialization in the relevant field is desirable.
Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited ( JVVNL ) or ( Jaipur Discom ) was established by the Government of Rajasthan for the distribution and supply of electricity all over Rajasthan. This distribution of electricity is mainly for 12 districts of Rajasthan and these are Dausa, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Alwar, Karoli, Tonk, Sawaimadhopur, Jhalawar, Baran, Bundi, Kota and Dholpur. It supply cost effective and top quality power and is equipped with modern techniques and machineries. Its head office is located at Jaipur.
Online / Offline applications are invited by Rajasthan Power Companies for the recruitment of various posts of Technical Workers in Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited , Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited. Interested and qualified candidates can apply before 13th September 2011. Selection will be based on a common written competitive examination. And after that, selected candidates will be called for an interview.
Total 9394 vacancies are available for the post of Technical workers. Out of this, 2930 posts are for Jaipur VVNL, 3262 posts are for Ajmer VVNL and rest 3202 posts are for Jodhpur VVNL. Candidates applying for this post should have passed senior secondary exam from RBSE / CBSE and also should posses ITI / NAC certificate in the trade of electrician / lineman/ SBA / Wireman/ Power Electrician. And also relevant experience is also required.
For this post, candidates age should not be less than 18 years and even not more than 28 years of age.
Selected candidates has to go for a training for a period of 2 years with stipend of Rs. 5900/- and after completion of the training, candidates will get salary of Rs. 7340/- per month under the pay scale of Rs. 5200 – 20200/- along with grade pay of Rs. 1850/-.
Written exam will be divided in two parts – Part A and Part B. Total duration of time will be 2 hours. Question of Part A will be based on General Awareness and it will be of 50 marks while 100 questions of technical knowledge of will be asked in Part B. It will be of 200 marks.
