Municipal Corporation of Delhi

Municipal Corporation of Delhi ( MCD ) is a municipal corporation started on 7th April 1958. It is a local authority of Delhi that governs the nine districts of Delhi. It is recognized as the largest municipal body in the world. It is divided in 12 zones and these are city, central, south, Karol Bagh, Sadar Paharganj, West, Civil Lines, Shahdara south, Shahdara north, Rohini, Najafgarh and Narela. It has 278 members.


MCD Education Schools Department has published an advertisement for the recruitment of various posts of primary and nursery teachers on contract basis for Delhi primary and nursery schools. For this, applications are invited from Indian Nationals. Eligible and dedicated candidates can apply latest by 8th September 2011. Mode of application is online only. The following vacancies are for the year of 2011 and 2012.

1370 posts are for primary Teachers for Central zone, South zone, Shahdara, Civil Lines zone, Karol Bagh, Sadar Paharganj and City zones. 23 posts are for Primary Teacher in Urdu, 1 vacancy is for the post of Primary Teacher in Tamil, 10 posts are for Primary Teacher in Bengali, 215 vacancies are for Nursery Teacher [ Female candidates only ].

For all of the above posts, candidates should have passes 12th class. He / She should not be more than 35 years of age as on the closing date of application. Selected candidates will get salary of Rs. 11000/- per month.

Uttarakhand Public Service Commission ( UKPSC ) was formed on 9th November 2000 by the Constitution of India and Governor of Uttarakhand. Its head office is located at Haridwar. It consists of a chairman along with 4 other members and all the members are appointed by the president of India. Its main duty is to conduct examinations for the appointments of various services in government department. It gives advice to central government on matters related to recruitment and promotion of officers.


A recruitment notification has been published in the official website of UKPSC. Through this, UKPSC invites applications from Indian Citizens for the recruitment of Junior Engineers in various disciplines under the pay scale of Rs. 9300 – 3400/- with grade pay of Rs. 4200/-.  Interested and dedicated candidates with requisite qualification can apply latest by 27th September 2011. 

Total 778 vacancies are available for the post of Junior Engineers in the discipline of Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Agriculture. Out of this, 304 vacancies are for the department of Public Works Division [ PWD ] Lok Nirman Vibhag for civil, electrical and mechanical department. 424 posts are for Irrigation department [ Sinchai Vibhag ] under civil and mechanical department. 50 posts are for Minor Irrigation department [ Laghu sinchai ] for agriculture, civil and mechanical discipline.
For all of the above positions, pass in diploma  / bachelor of engineering in the relevant field is required. Selection will be based on written test and interview.
